Hello Journeymen Families!
Good afternoon from Uganda! I am writing from the large porch of our guesthouse while the breeze blows and Maren and Patricia are swinging on the hammock. Meanwhile our husband/dad is whitewater rafting down the Nile; we'll be happy to see him back in one piece and breathing this evening!
Ms Melissa said she had a fantastic time with all of you yesterday. It was great for me to get such a good report about all that you learned.
The time spent in science sounds like it went fantastic, learning about inertia and kinetic as well as potential energy.
Ms Melissa will give each one a memory marble for finishing his or her portrait and returning it on Tuesday.
Make sure to add timeline as part of your review at home unless you are confident through the week 15 cards as that will be part of review again next week.
Presentations next week are on a science question of your choice. Remember to put to use the important speaking techniques listed in the red folder. I'm not sure if the class was split into presentation groups; this semester we initially planned on Hope, Meredith, Ryan and (Maren) to present on the first week of a new topic, but something different may have been arranged on Tuesday. If you are unsure if you should prepare for next week, email Ms Melissa.
